Country Heritage Bed & Breakfast. This Hampton Iowa B&B was built in 1921 by a man who had a dream of giving his family a home. We are located in the heart of North Central Iowa. The Dairy Barn. Retired dairy farmers Don & Gerrie Etter have converted their former barn into a bed and breakfast, naming each of the eight guest rooms after their favorite dairy cows. Check in at the front desk in the old Milk Room, relax on the Cow Yard patio, eat a farm fresh meals prepared the way Grandma used make them, chase fireflies or enjoy a summer bonfire, and sleep in the old Hayloft. Each room at The Dairy Barn has it’s own private bathroom and great country view.  Two bedrooms are handicap accessible on the first floor where the baby calves used to sleep.  All six of the Hayloft bedrooms have comfy pillowtop queen size beds. We welcome couples, families, old farmers, hunters, and small groups. With a huge farm yard and large common room on each floor, we’re a great place to hold family reunions, small wedding receptions, and retreats. The Oakwood Inn. A grand Victorian estate located in the heart of the Iowa Great Lakes. Our guests enjoy the picturesque views of the gardens, ponds and wildlife. Take a walk along the path and listen to the bullfrogs in the wetlands. You may even see a glimpse of turkeys, a few deer, ospry or the resident groundhog. Each of our 11 rooms feature beautiful views of the grounds and have their own private full bathrooms and fireplaces. Several of the rooms have luxury whirlpools and there is one 2-room suite on the top level of the home. Pryor House Bed and Breakfast. Built in 1893 by Arthur Pryor and formerly known as "the Teacherage," housing teachers for the local school district, The Pryor House enters a new stage in history as a bed and breakfast.. Owners Patricia and Tom Honeywell lovingly restored this local treasure to its former beauty in 2011. We offer two suites with private bathrooms. Breakfast is included in your room rate.
