This second empire Victorian home is located in the heart of the historic district of Canandaigua, NY. The inn is situated in the Finger Lakes region, which is known for its wineries. We have lovingly renovated the Inn to anticipate the needs of today’s discriminating travelers. Quaint shops along Main Street and the wares from NYS’ largest antique mall, Ontario Mall Antiques, harken a gone-by era reminiscent to city’s history. Also known as, the Alfred Gifford House, we take pride in featuring the best of old and new.
Bold carved fireplaces and a spacious foyer with majestic oak split staircase blend conveniently with a slew of modern amenities. Five beautifully appointed guestrooms, all en suite have central air conditioning and WiFi. Some have fireplaces and/or Jacuzzi’s, and mingle luxury and comfort, modernity and antiquity. For increased privacy and comfort, two of the guestrooms include two-room suites. The grandeur of this bed and breakfast matches our hospitality to make your getaway comforting and luxurious.
In season, guests enjoy lounging on the spacious porch that is furnished with quaint, antique wicker, true to the period of the home, and enjoy relaxing in the hammock under the old maple. Each morning, guests awake to a scrumptious full breakfast. In the afternoon and evening – please help yourself to complimentary beverages, fresh fruit, and freshly baked goodies made in house.
