Our Wines:
The President’s Choice Syrah: This Syrah would truly be the choice of any president. This dry red, full-bodied, well-balanced wine, produces hints of spice and red fruit aromas. The silky, well-integrated tannins give it great aging potential. This delicious, robust wine is sure to quickly become a wine connoisseur favorite!
Sarah’s Choice Riesling: Named for First Lady Sarah Polk, this semi-sweet aromatic Riesling has a distinct “honey” bouquet. Perfectly balanced, this wine has tasting notes of ripe fruit on the front and a lingering light finish. This would be, without a doubt, Sarah’s choice since one of her few apparent extravagances as First Lady was selecting fine wines for White House social events.
The People’s Choice Blackberry: Named after James K. Polk’s campaign slogan, “The People’s Choice” is a delectably sweet blackberry wine. The blackberry is an immensely popular fruit and, as such, produces one of the most loved fruit wines in the country. We think it will get your vote!
Crescendo: A premier dry red wine featuring 2005 vintage grapes and bottled in 2008, Crescendo is a classic Bordeaux style blend of 50% Cabernet Sauvignon, 35% Syrah and 15% Merlot. Complex and well balanced with hints of oak, plum, black current, and black cherry finishing smooth with rich silky tannins. This exceptional wine will complement steak as well as any heavy red meat dish including wild game.
Cabernet Sauvignon: 2012 dry, full bodied Bordeaux style red varietal with good tannin structure with a smooth finish. Hints of oak, black current, chocolate and an ever so slight hint of pepper make this wine a must with heavy red meats!
Double Barrel: 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon aged in French and American Oak wine barrels then finished six months in whiskey barrels.
Merlot: 2012 Vintners Reserve (unfiltered) carefully crafted by our winemaker for your enjoyment. It is a dry full bodied, unusually robust red varietal with notes of dark berries. Aged in American and French white oak.
Pinot Gris: This 2014 Vintage dry white wine is light and crisp offering tropical fruit notes which make it a perfect selection for summer. A great wine to savor on its own, it also pairs well with white meat chicken dishes, bisques, chowders and light seafood fare.
Chardonel: This 2013 vintage from Amber Falls Winery & Cellars’ estate vineyard is a true off-dry with 1% residual sugar. With notes of overripe pear and apple, this refreshing wine pairs nicely with some pork dishes and most chicken dishes.
Patriot: Red semi-sweet blend of Chambourcin and Chancellor grapes. Well integrated soft tannins and some of the complexity of a dry red but without the dryness! This Italian style wine is great with tomato-based Italian foods and also with BBQ and spicy foods.
Cajunfest: This fun wine, a sweet red blend of Concord, Chambourcin and Chancellor grapes, is infused with Cajun spices. Sweet on the front palate, it has a warm and delicious lingering finish. This singular wine is truly one of a kind and unforgettable. Without a doubt, it brings out the festival in any occasion!
Madame Muscadine: Light and refreshing sweet white wine made from the white Carlos Muscadine grape. This devine wine tastes and smells just like the grape! It is sweet with a slightly tart finish so that it isn’t heavy on the tongue.
Cottage Rosé: This very aromatic sweet dark blended Rose’ is sure to please even the most discriminating sweet wine lover. It is a perfect blend of two Native American grapes, Concord and Muscadine with pure grape aromas and flavors abounding.
Raspberry Romance: This sweet wine is made from pure raspberry juice and has a slightly tart finish with a heavenly aroma! Fabulous any time of day on its own but even better with any type of chocolate dessert or smooth dark chocolate candy!
Cranberry Caress: This delectably sweet wine with a fabulous bouquet is made using white wines from Amber Falls’ estate vineyard blended with natural cranberry juice. Both sweet and tart, this wine, in a beautifully labeled specialty bottle, can be a wonderful holiday offering or enjoyed year round.
Peach Puersuasion: You’ll think you’re eating a peach plucked right off the tree! This sweet wine is very aromatic and unmistakably peach. This is the absolutely perfect finish for a great meal. If you like sweet, and you like peach, you’ll love this wine!
Sweet Dreams: This lusciously sweet true dessert wine has hints of caramel and roasted pecans. It is a fortified wine made in a Cream Sherry style in which the flavor comes from the method in which it is made. Enjoy this wine as an after dinner sipper or as a night-cap. This wonderfully smooth wine along with the beautiful screen printed bottle, also make it the perfect gift.
