Situated on a private mountaintop, this unique and charming property is located in beautiful Lake Lure. Located on seven heavily wooded acres, Gaestehaus Salzburg offers six Alpine inspired vacation rental cabins for you to select from. Set in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains this European-inspired setting is evident as soon as you arrive. The quietness and serenity begins as you drive up the tree lined gravel driveway, entering another world away from the hectic business life. Guests can also enjoy a pool, sauna and on-site hiking trail.
Lake Lure and Chimney Rock offer many attractions. Along with nearby award-winning wineries, guest can experience beautiful mountains for ziplining, hiking and rock climbing. The river with its gigantic boulders and kayaking. Most of all the Lake, (home to original Dirty Dancing) for boating, skiing, wakeboarding, or just sunning on the beach. Come back to the serenity of our gardens for relaxing and revitalization. We are located halfway between Asheville’s famous Biltmore Estate and Tryon International Equestrian Center home to the 2018 World Equestrian Games.
The cabins feature natural wood exteriors with warm knotty pine walls and cozy amenities. Each cabin has its own decorating panache with Jacuzzi tubs, fireplaces, full kitchens or kitchenettes. The Bluebird Cabin is handicapped accessible with a no barrier wheelchair shower. There are five/one-bedroom units plus one cottage with 2 queen bedrooms and 2 private baths.
