Historic flour mill established in 1888 originally sold under the name “Alto Pride Flour.” Now, 127 years later, the Old Mill Inn is still serving up the best! Our historic inn is family-owned and operated. We are nestled in the middle of the Shawnee National Forest and in the heart of the Shawnee Wine Trail, located just 20 miles from Carbondale, IL, and 35 miles from Cape Girardeau, MO. The Inn is less than an hour’s drive from many destinations. Of course, there are various attractions right here, including: Bald Knob Cross, hiking on the Quetil Trail, just a two-minute walk from the Inn, or explore the Shawnee Wine Trail for a day of wine tasting. Do as much or as little as you would like. We are dedicated to giving you a valuable, relaxing experience.
