A “Back to Basics” lodge located near many incredible Ohio wineries. A 10-15 minute walk down a wooded lane will bring your to the secluded private lake where guests can enjoy boating, fishing, hunting, swimming or hiking. Dogwood trees flower all along the trail in Spring while the forest floor is covered with wildflowers. Deer & raccoon tracks can be seen along with tadpoles in the puddles on your way to the one-1 acre spring fed lake.
Newcomerstown is located in East Central Ohio, in the heart of Amish Country. Here you see various sects of the Amish community in the stores , along the town streets and on the back roads. Raven’s Glenn Winery & Restaurant, Rainbow Hills Winery and Yellow Butterfly winery are all very close by. There are also many other wineries in the region.
