Experience a stay at the incredible Slaton Harvey House as it was in the 1920s – now an historic bed and breakfast. Our first floor has been renovated to look just as it did in 1912 (minus the famous lunch counter) and is a lovely and unique event hall. We are also home to a growing, railroad collection of artwork and railroad items.
We offer five historically appointed rooms and our guests are treated to a full hot breakfast each morning. The informative hosts can tell you about the history of Slaton and places of interest to visit throughout the region. Slaton is a mere 13 miles from Lubbock and the Harvey House is a great alternative to a standard hotel. You’ll have access to a comfortable upstairs sitting room and are welcome to browse the downstairs museum or enjoy the cool afternoons under the covered patio while train watching.
