Built in 1760 and restored in 2006, this Lancaster County, PA landmark offers three comfortable but elegant guest rooms plus three private cottages, all with private bath. Each room is uniquely decorated with antique furniture, hardwood floors and Amish quilts, and most rooms feature fireplaces and whirlpool baths. All three of our cottages have their own kitchennette for your convenience. All rooms have a lovely view of the surrounding farm, woodlands or creek. We will start your day off right with a great cup of coffee, fresh-squeezed orange juice, fresh-baked bread and a three-course breakfast. We’ll also end your day with decadent homemade desserts.
The guest common areas include a parlor with a 1933 upright piano and a library with cable TV Many movies are also available for our guests.
Hidden in a secluded valley on a 120-acre farm, Speedwell Forge is the perfect place to get away from it all, yet only minutes from the historic towns of Lititz, Manheim, award-winning wineries and the rest of Pennsylvania Dutch Country. Surrounded by a lake and a natural park, Speedwell Forge is perfect for hiking, biking, swimming, kayaking, and birding. On our property is Wolf Sanctuary of PA, home of the Speedwell wolves.
