The Roost Bed & Breakfast is conveniently located between Omaha and Lincoln in beautiful Ashland, Nebraska. This historical home features three updated suites with modern amenities including complimentary high-speed internet, white noise machines, ensuite bathrooms with spa/oversized tubs and Smart TV’s.
While staying at The Roost, you are welcome to use the common spaces at any time, unless it is reserved for an Afternoon Tea. Common spaces include the front porch, living room and dining room areas. Games and books are available for use during your stay. The Outdoor Deck with swim spa and fire pit is also open to guests in the evening. The spacious front porch offers a place for guests to relax and even dine during the warmer months.
In the upstairs hallway guests will also find a hospitality nook where they can help themselves to coffees, teas, waters and snacks. A microwave and small refrigerator are also available.
The innkeepers have years of restaurant and catering experience, so morning breakfasts are a treat with a wholesome and sumptuous variety of sweet rolls, breads, egg dishes, healthy grain options, yogurt parfaits and more. Everyday is a new surprise! And of course, no breakfast is complete without their special Roost Roast coffee and assorted teas.
There’s much to see and do in the Ashland area. The Roost is located a block from one of Nebraska’s Top 10 rated best small towns. This vibrant little community has some fantastic little shops, wineries, museums, and state parks; two of those state parks are within a 10 minute drive – Mahoney State Park and Platte River State Park. Being equal distance between Omaha and Lincoln (25 miles) gives you a short drive to either city for the best in entertainment, sports, and fine dining.
