Looking for a quiet country getaway, away from it all but with plenty to do nearby? The White Oak Inn sits on 14 secluded acres in Central Ohio, close to Ohio’s Amish area, Historic Roscoe Village and Kenyon College. The New England style original inn building built in 1915 holds seven comfortable guest rooms, the inn dining room and a large common room with grand piano. Three guest rooms in the separate guesthouse are more contemporary, with large screen TV’s and fireplaces. Two luxury log cabins with whirlpool tubs and fireplaces are perfect for those looking for romance and privacy. Pets are welcome in two of the guesthouse rooms. In addition to a generous country breakfast each morning, guests can also opt for dinner in the dining room, or specialty dinner baskets for two. Outdoor activities nearby include canoeing, golfing and a zip line. A number of wineries and Amish shops are a short drive away.
