Buckley Vineyards was born from a vision to share a truly special place. After acquiring the historic Henry Evans homestead property, we fell in love with its beautiful Turkey Creek setting and sweeping mountain views. It was clear from the start that this unique piece of North Georgia deserved to be enjoyed by others.
Kevin’s passion for gardening inspired the first vineyard plantings, and from there everything began to take shape. With the encouragement of friends and family, that small beginning grew into Buckley Vineyards—a welcoming destination where guests can relax, enjoy the scenery, and experience our handcrafted wines.
Located in beautiful Ellijay in the North Georgia Mountains, Buckley Vineyards opened in May 2021 and has quickly become a favorite destination for locals and visitors alike. Guests can enjoy our scenic vineyard setting, a stunning outdoor amphitheater, and an indoor event center where we regularly host award-winning musicians and bands, creating a vibrant atmosphere of live music and community.
We have live music and food trucks every Saturday and Sunday. And for those looking to relax and unwind, our 16-and-older Wine Garden offers a laid-back atmosphere complete with fire pits, an additional bar, and large-screen TVs so guests can catch all their favorite sporting events while enjoying a glass of wine.
Just steps from the vineyard, we also offer a charming two-bedroom, two-bath cabin perched above one of the waterfalls on Turkey Creek. This peaceful retreat is available to rent, allowing guests to fully immerse themselves in the beauty of the property and enjoy a relaxing mountain getaway surrounded by nature and wine country.
In addition to our vineyard location, we’ve expanded with a new tasting room and restaurant in Downtown Ellijay, offering even more opportunities to enjoy our wines, great food, and the charm of this North Georgia mountain town.
